The remodelling work will upgrade the existing facilities under the departments including the operating theatres, Intensive Care Unit (ICU), blood bank, pharmacy, Neonatal ICU (NICU) as well as the existing wards among others. This is aimed at allowing the hospital to provide a more modern and efficient service to the people of the District and in the Southern Province who rely on the hospital.
